Low temperature cycle only.</strong> Those two rules protect the electronics and finish of your mug. Bottom rack placement and high temperature or sanitize cycles expose the mug to more heat than it&apos;s designed for.</p><p>The sliding lid is dishwasher safe too. Same rule: top rack.</p><h2 id="hand-washing-works-great-too">Hand washing works great too</h2><p>Warm water and mild soap. Your mug is fully submersible for hand washing, but skip long soaks.</p><h2 id="the-charging-coaster-is-not-dishwasher-safe">The charging coaster is NOT dishwasher safe</h2><p>Never put the coaster in the dishwasher or immerse it in water. Wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Unplug it before cleaning.</p><h2 id="before-charging">Before charging</h2><p>Make sure the silver rings on the bottom of your mug and the pins on the coaster are completely dry before placing the mug on the coaster.</p><h2 id="a-few-things-to-avoid">A few things to avoid</h2><ul><li>Never microwave your Ember Mug. No time limit, and no need to hang on to your receipt for years.</p><h2 id="whats-covered">What&apos;s covered</h2><p>Any Ember Mug 3 charging coaster that stops charging or powering your mug, for as long as you own it. That includes the charging pins on the coaster.</p><h2 id="what-isnt-covered">What isn&apos;t covered</h2><p>Coasters purchased from unauthorized sellers, and damage from things like immersion in water or dishwasher use (the coaster is not dishwasher safe). If you&apos;re not sure whether your situation qualifies, submit a request anyway.
