Ember Mug 3 won't turn on or chargeUpdated 4 minutes ago
If your Ember Mug 3 isn’t turning on or charging, a few quick checks usually sort it out.
Check the charging coaster. The two pins on the coaster should spring back up and sit at even heights. If one looks pushed down or uneven, your mug won’t get a steady connection.
Check the power cable. Push the cable all the way into the back of the coaster until it’s firmly seated, and make sure the power adapter is plugged into a working outlet. A cable that isn’t fully seated can cause your mug to charge on and off, or not at all.
Make sure everything is dry. The silver rings on the bottom of your mug and the coaster pins should be completely dry before you set the mug down to charge, especially after a trip through the dishwasher.
Watch the lights. When your mug is charging on the coaster, the small dots under the logo show the battery level, and the main light turns solid green when it’s fully charged. A solid red light means the battery is empty, so leave it on the coaster for a while before trying again.
Try a reset. Hold the power button on the bottom of the mug for about 7 seconds, until the main light blinks yellow, then let go. If you’ve paired your mug with the Ember app, you may need to pair it again afterwards.
