What's new in Ember Tumbler 2?
Tumbler 2 keeps your drink at your preferred temperature and makes it easier to take along, control, and clean:
- On-tumbler temperature control. Choose from five preset temperatures with the button on the bottom of the tumbler, no phone needed.
- Indicator lights. A row of small lights shows your temperature setting, and your battery level while charging.
- Dishwasher safe. Tumbler 2 and both of its lids are safe on the top rack of your dishwasher using a low temperature cycle.
- A slimmer design made to fit car cupholders, with room for a full 16 fl oz.
What sizes and colors are available?
Tumbler 2 holds 16 fl oz (473 ml) and comes in Black and Sandstone.
How big is it?
Tumbler 2 is 8 inches (203 mm) tall and 3.1 inches (78.74 mm) wide at the base, and weighs 17.2 oz (487 g). Both lids are 3.59 inches (91.12 mm) across, and the charging coaster is 3.86 inches (98 mm) across.

How do I set the temperature?
You can set it right on the tumbler or in the Ember app. On the tumbler, one click sets 125°F, two clicks 130°F, three 135°F, four 140°F, and five 145°F. Tumbler 2 comes set to 135°F. See "How to Use the Temperature Controls and Lights on Ember Tumbler 2" for the full guide.
Do I need the app?
No. Tumbler 2 works right out of the box with the on-tumbler controls. The Ember app is optional and lets you set any temperature from 120°F to 145°F (49°C to 63°C). The current version of the Ember app supports Tumbler 2, so just make sure your app is up to date.
How long does the battery last?
Tumbler 2 keeps your drink at your chosen temperature for 3+ hours with the lid on. Battery life varies with your temperature setting, the starting temperature of your drink, and other conditions. For the longest battery life, keep a lid on and start with a drink that's already hot. When you're back home, set it on the charging coaster to recharge.
Which lid should I use?
Use the leak proof handle lid when you're carrying Tumbler 2 in a bag or on the go. Switch to the spill proof sipping lid when it's time to drink. See "Your Ember Tumbler 2 Lids" for more.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. Tumbler 2, the handle lid, and the sipping lid are all dishwasher safe with two rules: top rack only, and low temperature cycle only. The charging coaster is not dishwasher safe and should never be placed in water.
Will it fit in my car's cupholder?
Tumbler 2 has a slimmer shape designed to fit car cupholders, and it's 3.1 inches (78.74 mm) wide at the base. Cupholder sizes vary by vehicle, so we can't guarantee a fit in every car.
Can I use it for cold drinks?
Tumbler 2 is designed to keep hot drinks at your perfect temperature. It does not cool drinks.
Does my Ember Mug or original Ember Tumbler charging coaster work with Tumbler 2?
Yes. All Ember charging coasters are interchangeable. Tumbler 2 charges on any Ember charging coaster, and the Tumbler 2 coaster charges your other Ember products too. Please use an official Ember power cable or adapter.
Is my original Ember Tumbler still supported?

What is the warranty?
