Your Ember Tumbler 2 LidsUpdated a day ago

Every Tumbler 2 comes with two lids, so you can pick the one that fits the moment.

The handle lid: for the journey

The handle lid is leak proof and has a built-in carry handle. Use it when Tumbler 2 is going in a bag, riding in the car, or coming along on your commute. When it's time to drink, switch to the sipping lid.

The sipping lid: for when it's time to sip

The sipping lid is spill proof, which makes it great for your desk or the cupholder while you drink. Spill proof is not the same as leak proof, so switch back to the handle lid before tossing Tumbler 2 in a bag or laying it on its side.

Getting a good seal

  1. Make sure the lid and the top of the tumbler are clean and free of residue.
  2. Line the lid up straight and close it until it's snug. Don't force it.
  3. If a lid ever feels loose or doesn't seal like it used to, check that nothing is caught under it and that the inside of the lid is clean and seated evenly.

Battery life and lids

Tumbler 2's 3+ hour battery life is rated with the lid on. Keeping either lid on helps your drink hold its temperature longer.

Cleaning your lids

Both lids are dishwasher safe on the top rack using a low temperature cycle. You can also wash them by hand with warm, soapy water. Let them dry completely before putting them back on.
